After this weekend, the team carries a record of 5-2 into their weekend series against Notre Dame.

Women’s Soccer (No. 6):

The No. 6 Women’s Soccer team took down the No. 24 Indiana Hoosiers in the quarterfinal round of the B1G tournament. The win came after Kaitlyn MacBean, Eva Alonso, and Amelia White all found the back of the net in the team’s first tournament game. Goalkeeper, Katherine Asman, tallied her eighth shutout of the season and the twenty-sixth of her career. The win improved Penn State’s record against Indiana to 30-1-3 since the two first played each other in 1994. The team is taking on the Iowa Hawkeyes on Thursday in the semifinal round of the tournament.

Men’s Soccer:

The Men’s Soccer team played two games this past week. The first resulted in a 3-0 win against Detroit Mercy, and the second was a 1-1 tie against Wisconsin. The tie with Wisconsin secured Penn State’s title as the Regular Season B1G Champion. This is their second title in 3 years, and it enabled the team to earn the No. 2 seed heading into the B1G tournament.
